Each month a selected article in the
Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry will be associated with a CME offering. In order to earn CME credit, the participant will need to read the selected article, answer an evaluation, and complete a post-test online. Participants are required to answer at least 70% of the questions correctly to earn CME credit.
Journal subscribers who are interested in Journal CME activities must register at
www.jaacap.org before accessing the CME program. To register on the Journal site, Academy members will need their membership type and AACAP membership number. If you have already have an account to access the journal content on www.jaacap.org, LOGIN to that account to proceed.
The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 hour of Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. Participants who complete the post-test and evaluation will be issued a CME certificate, which may be printed at their location. No additional certificate will be mailed.
JAACAP CME offerings expire one year after the article publication date.
This educational activity is designed for child and adolescent psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals with a special interest in child and adolescent mental health.
